One of the services we offer is integrated software solutions. This is where we can integrate software systems that have been developed in different programming languages. For example, we can integrate between systems developed in Cognos’ PowerHouse or Cobol and another system that it would not normally be able to talk to, like Oracle on NT.

We can develop customised software from start to finish - from meeting with you to discuss your needs and preparing specifications for the work, to coding, testing, implementing and maintaining the new system. Our development tools are typically Compuware’s Uniface (our specialty), Cognos tools such as PowerPlay and PowerHouse, and Crystal Decisions' Crystal Reports but we may be able to provide services in other languages like Visual Basic.

If you are not looking for a brand new system, we can redevelop your existing system and implement the changes. For example, we can redevelop software from Cognos’ PowerHouse to Compuware’s Uniface to take advantage of Uniface’s many features. We would, of course, provide lists of all altered programs, and database changes, as well as the steps required for implementing the changes to your system.

Or we could just maintain your current system by providing fixes when needed. It’s up to you.

If you know your current software system is inadequate and you’re unsure as to your options, you may just want us to provide an analysis of your current system with our recommendations for improvement. With a brief, we can write a specification to enhance existing software systems, or to develop an entirely new system. Based on the specification, we can provide you with an estimate of the time and cost required for you to make and implement these changes.

If you are looking to improve the information you can retrieve from your current system, our staff can help you using tools such as Crystal Decisions' Crystal Reports (for standard reports) or Cognos’ PowerPlay (for a more multi-dimensional analysis).

As computer software specialists, we know the importance of documentation. If you need assistance, we can document your existing systems for you.

All the systems that we develop and any modifications we make come with system and user documentation.

Our team can provide flexible support for your software system. Our normal hours are between 8.30am to 5.00pm EST. Support out of working hours can be negotiated.

Our support is typically for Compuware’s Uniface and Cognos’ PowerHouse based products. We support products that have been developed by Mercury, but we are happy to provide support services for client-developed and third party systems.
